The key to a balanced dog is a well-trained dog. When you train together, an unspoken language builds between you through words, hand signals, whistles and other methods.
A well-behaved dog is a joy to live with, and proper dog training helps ensure that your pup can participate in almost everything you do together.
Whether your goal is puppy socialization and or participating in dog sports, training is key to making your dog more confident and comfortable in a variety of situations. It’s also a lot of fun for both people and dogs.
Dog training is also a considerable part of responsible dog ownership, but getting started in training might be confusing. The good news is that I am here to help, whatever you and your dog need. I only use positive reinforcement when working with any animal.
Integral to dog training is following through 100% of the time. If you and/or someone in your household isn’t doing the same thing we are, then your dog will be confused and not know what to do. This is not a reflection of your dog’s ability to learn, it means you are not following through with consistency. Training takes time and consistency.
